About Chantelle
Chantelle has twenty years of experience in communications and content, most recently leading marketing for nearly a decade at Accel, one of the world's top venture capital firms. Before that, she founded and scaled her own PR consultancy, where she was trusted by VCs, founders, and some of the world’s most consequential leaders, like Sheryl Sandberg. Chantelle gained crucial operating experience at Yelp, where she helped lead communications efforts both locally and internationally, from their Series B funding through their IPO. She began her career on the agency side at Alexander Ogilvy and Bite Communications (now Archetype), where she led campaigns for clients such as AMD, Applied Materials, and Sun Microsystems.
She is uniquely experienced in working with the world’s best venture capitalists and founders, has an unrivaled network across media and tech, and possesses a rare blend of startup and public company experience. While she has the earned expertise needed to develop nuanced communication strategies and advise on crises, she also possesses the tenacity and grit to write, build, and pitch stories to reporters and work the phones.
Chantelle lives in Orinda, CA, with her husband, three kids, and three rescue dogs. When she’s not working or acting as a chauffeur or dog-walker, she’s comfort watching “The Great British Bake-Off” and bookmarking recipes on the NYT Cooking app that her kids will never eat.
