COLLECTIVE HEALTH

We were engaged by Collective Health's SVP of Marketing to support the company's Series C funding announcement and absorb and drive the company's overall media relations efforts. Post funding and in lieu of immediate news, we conceived and spearheaded a media dinner that focused on the "Future of Healthcare" to give business and tech reporters the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about this quickly growing space. In addition to the Collective Health CEO, the dinner included other key founders and CEOs. We secured 10 media attendees from outlets including BloombergBusinessweek, Buzzfeed, Fast Company, Fortune, New York Times, San Francisco Chronicle and Wall Street Journal. We also drove non-news related coverage, including a substantial online and video profile piece in CNBC and placement in Forbes 2016 "Next Billion-Dollar Startups". We also secured a piece that profiled Collective Health's first product announcement, CareX, in CNN that covered its news and compared Collective Health to competitors, noting that its "market for potential clients is vast".

rhumbix

We were introduced to Rhumbix by its investor, Greylock Partners and engaged to develop and drive a communications strategy for the company's beta launch and Series A funding announcement. In addition to drafting a thoughtful launch strategy, developing internal and external messaging and conducting extensive media training, we secured and briefed a mix of tech, business and local publications for its announcement including: Recode, B1 of The San Francisco ChronicleTechCrunch and Wired, as well as verticals important to the construction industry such as Construction Dive.

sprig

We were introduced to Sprig by its investor, Greylock Partners and initially tasked with growing its presence in San Francisco. In lieu of hard or upcoming news, we worked hand-in-hand with Sprig’s culinary team to devise “Sprig’s Guest Chef Night.” We secured briefings and coverage with every major local media outlet including a few national publications and as a result, Sprig received over 5,000 requests in the first 90 seconds of service and a total of 10,000 requests for the entire night of service. That day-of success also translated into long-term results: Sprig's Guest Chef Night is now a regular and anticipated part of its service and many of the media introductions we created have resulted in long term relationships for the company.

As part of our work together, we also created a compelling story narrative and tagline that conveyed Sprig’s emphasis on local farmers and ingredients to help it stand out in an increasingly crowded market. Our local story also captured the interest of national press, resulting in multiple stories in Business Insider, Fast CompanyForbes, Fox Business, KRON4, NPR Marketplace, San Francisco Chronicle and Vogue.

We secured and briefed nearly every major local and national media outlet including Forbes, NPR MarketplaceA1 in The San Francisco Chronicle, TechCrunch, Wall Street Journal and Wired, as well as day-of appearances on Bloomberg News – driving thousands of sign ups on launch day.
